4. Murder Attempt & bullosis diabeticorum, Police Complaint by Raji, Retaliatory Isolation of Omana and ongoing Federal Case

Frightened at the threats by Ms. Copeland to end Omana’s life, and based on the advise of her uncle Jayakumar Nair and family consensus, her daughter Raji booked emergency tickets to USA, and went to Paramount Shelter as soon as she arrived. The sight she saw there cuddled her blood: Omana was covered with ghastly blisters as if from burns, running a heavy fever, and was so delirious that she was almost unconscious and could not even recognize her daughter. She was in a filthy bed that had not been changed for days, and as usual as previous visits from family (she had had five emergency room admissions from Paramount, all due to urinary tract infections from not having her diaper changed. She also had one ER admission for SIRS, which only spreads due to unhygienic environments, such as prisons: all 5 ER admissions were initiated by her family which saved her life, to prevent which they had trespassed her local family members Kavesh Sharma and Jay), she was lying on her dried feces and urine. She was asking for water in malayalam (“vellam, vellam…”), and was running a 104 degrees fever. She was very close to dying and completely dehydrated and unable to open her eyes.

Raji screamed in horror and ran to the nursing station, but their response horrified her even more. They said that the guardian and administrator had asked them to leave her alone and “let her pass away peacefully” and advised Raji to pray for her soul by her bedside. Raji was beyond petrified, as she knew her mother was a cognitively alert individual that wanted to live, besides being medically stable despite her strokes. She had several years of good positive life to love and be loved, if she got the right treatment at a skilled nursing facility, which was the reason Family agreed to a guardian in the first place as it was exorbitantly expensive to provide such a high quality care at home, which Jay managed for almost 5 years at his home as an “ideal son” as Omana calls him on the videos being uploaded to Media section. She loved living at their home, with a backyard where she could feed bunnies, and from there she had been taken to a hell-hole to be murdered in the most cruel way possible, begging for a drop of water. Omana had never suffered any harm at her son’s house or ever under his care in any way, and she did nothing wrong to deserve such an illegal capital punishment for no reason other than that State had no money for her care (although they were only too eager to cut off her source of care funding, her son Jay, for nonsensical reasons, without even considering who would replace him to provide the cost of care).

Petrified at this response, she insisted on calling the Paramedics and based on her initiative, Paramedics arrived after about half and hour. They were shocked to see Omana’s condition, and confirmed she had not been receiving any insulin, food or water. Her blood glucose was over 400, which had led to severe burn-like scalding / blisters all over her body. They were literally cooking her organs by letting her die on what would appear to be natural causes but literally would be murder. She was moved to Harborview Emergency Room, where she was treated with water and insulin, and stabilized enough that she could open her eyes and recognize her daughter. She said she had not received any water or food for days.

Infuriated at their mother’s condition and murder attempt, and scared that she would be returned to the same evil “facility” by the guardian once she was ready to be discharged, Family made an unanimous decision to file a police complaint detailing the condition Raji found her in at Paramount, and press charges for attempted murder against the guardian and the staff at Paramount. Accordingly they went to Seattle PD headquarters on July 3rd 2019, and filed Case $19-243177. They also obtained very detailed medical evidence from paramedics and Harborview eCare medical records that corroborated the finding that she had been withheld all life supporting medications, food and even water for several days preceding her admission on 6/13, from when she can be seen to make a dramatic recovery and become stable. Exhibit 10 below in the list of Exhibits includes 10 different files showing glucose, metabolic panel, lipase, lactose, x-rays of her chest and abdomen etc taken on 6/13, as well as her general medical history of how she drastically deteriorated from her baseline after she had been moved to Paramount. One such example is her a1c, an indicator of long term blood glucose levels, which was at a very healthy and stable 5.6 at home, from which it had jumped to an abnormally dangerous 8.1 at Paramount. Kudos to Adult “Protection” Services, if this is their definition of “protecting” an old mother & family that just wants to be left alone.

After the day she had been removed by Raji on June 13th from Paramount to Harborview, both Jay and Raji had been visiting her everyday for at least 3 to 4 hours. Jay would leave Raji with Omana for the entire day and come back to collect her in the evening, and as there is nothing Omana loves in the world more than spending quality time with her children, this really aided in her recuperation from the near mortal state that Raji had saved her from at Paramount. She was able to recount her experiences and provide video testimonies of her abuse at Paramount, and how she absolutely adored having her children with her.

However, on July 5th, the first business day after filing the police complaint, Raji was placed under False Arrest by a nurse named Masumi, who made her stay in an isolated room for 5 hours after security removed her from her mother’s bedside. When Jay arrived in the evening to collect his sister, he too was escorted by Security and the siblings were told that they would not be allowed to return.

Flabbergasted, they sent a legal demand letter to guardian and to Harborview demanding to arrange a visit with their mother on or before August 5th. As they did not respond, they filed a Federal Civil Rights Complaint (C19-01296-MJP), which is still ongoing. Since July 5th, she has not been allowed even a phone call by any Family or Friends, let alone any visitations, even by her Family attorneys, and is being held a hostage with the view to accelerate her death through agony.
